I named this pressing Aquidneck Butterfly because of how it resembles its namesake in grace and beauty. This seaweed is Palmaria palmate (Dulse), and grows among the kelp in the sublittoral zone. Who knew something this beautiful was out there getting tangled in your feet or fishing line!
