About the design:
This specimen of Irish Moss was discovered hovering around the rocks and oyster shells at the mouth of the Sakonnet River where it meets the Atlantic. Its coral-like texture was created by Bryozoan colonies. Collected at Third Beach among the oyster shells in Middletown, Rhode Island.
