Rhode Island, the Ocean State, is loved for it’s many beautiful beaches and expansive coastline. It has the shortest state motto: “Hope.” It was one of the original 13 states and is one of the six New England states. Some things it’s famous for: the mansions in Newport, Sailing, Seafood- including calamari and clams, Del’s Frozen Lemonade, Coffee Milk and Awful Awfuls!
