I created this collage at my art retreat in County Mayo, Ireland, at Mulranny Arts Center in April 2025. Ireland is such a seaweed friendly culture and has a great variety of specimens with many that are similar to what we have here in New England. I enjoyed creating this piece to reflect the tide pools along the Mulranny coast on the west side of Ireland.
Some of the types of seaweed in this collage are: Irish Moss, Sea Lettuce, Oak Leaf and Sargassum seaweed.
This piece is pressed and dried into 8 x 10" acid free watercolor paper and signed by the artist. It will be packed flat for shipping.
