Art made with living materials helps redefine humanness. My work reflects this mindset in the different mediums I explore and often combine. The seaweed pressings are created using local specimens and a process where they are collaged using their own adhesive gel. With cyanotype I'm able to achieve depth and a sense of the watery world that is my creative source. Eco printing produces earthy and organic imprints on paper and fabric that meld into my process, combining land & sea. The charcoal drawings are created using beach fire charred sticks, and ink mixed with salt water and chalk.  By incorporating these natural elements and processes I am exploring my relationship with nature and how they affect and inform the work.
