About the design:
This seaweed collage shows an example of the symbiotic relationships that form between marine species. A cluster of Callithamnion tetragonum (Beauty Weed) adheres to an Atlantic slipper limpet shell, while a strand of Chondrus crispus (Irish Moss) cascades below. Collected at North Light Beach, Block Island.
