About the design:
Saccharina latissima is a large brown marine species native to New England. This crinkly seaweed can often be found in deep rockpools or washed up on the beach after rough seas. The leaves of Sugar Kelp provide a sweetener called mannitol. It is also harvested for a variety of uses, from food to biofuels.
