About the design:
This seaweed collage is made by combining Grinnell's Pink Leaf (Grinelia americana) and Ulva compressa together as if they're billowing with the tide. The seaweed specimens were gathered at the mouth of the Sakonnet River where it meets the Atlantic Ocean.
