The Atlantic card series contains a variety of images of seaweed found throughout the North Atlantic coastal waters. From Long Island to Maine, these diverse specimens can be discovered close to shore in the intertidal zone.
I gather all of the marine algae myself and then collage, arrange and press it back in my studio in Newport, Rhode Island or sometimes, right at the shore. Once dry, I scan the originals in high resolution and use the digital files to create cards and prints. I select a group of images for the card packages based on a variety of colors, textures and forms.
There are 6 cards to a package, each with a white envelope and blank inside.
The card size is 5- 7/8" X 4-1/8" .
They are contained in a clear box.
